The Hohhot Sports Center Comprehensive Gymnasium has a building area of 14600 square meters and 3500 spectator seats, making it a Grade B venue. The gymnasium can achieve the conversion of ice to ground functions and host national level events such as basketball, handball, badminton, table tennis, ice hockey, short track speed skating, and figure skating. On September 17, 2023, the 2023-2024 China Cup Short Track Speed Skating Elite League Hohhot Station and "14th Winter" Qualification Tournament successfully concluded at Hohhot Sports Center.
