On September 17, 2023, the Hohhot stop of the 2023-2024 China Cup Short Track Speed Skating Elite League and the qualification round for the 14th Winter Universiade came to a successful conclusion at the Hohhot Sports Center. Over the course of six days, numerous Olympic stars, including Lin Xiaojun, Wu Dajing, Ren Ziwei, Sun Long, Liu Shaolin, and Liu Shaoang, ignited their passion for ice and snow. Ice fans from all over the country gathered in Hohhot to experience the charm of ice skating together.
